Lingering Santorini

14th of April 2012, It has been almost a month since my last post.
The thing that I was planning on, which I'd mentioned on my last post, is the trip to Santorini.
Never ever thinking of being able to step foot on that island.
It was a dream for me, which seemed far and unreachable.
And it still is.
Mind still lingers on that place.
It's a dreamy island that you should go when it's not crowded. Just chill and relax.

Love this photo of me. Thanks Bianca for the photo.

And after seeing so many stunning photos of Santorini for my whole life, I got to capture one myself.
The sunset of Oia.

It was OH-SO-AMAZING to see the changing color of the sea, sky and the whitewashed cube houses.
We just sat there and watched it quietly. I guess we all had the same thought at that moment.
'Couldn't believe that I'm here.'
That's what we always tell each other when we are traveling.
More photos for the trip on the coming post.
I still couldn't get enough of it.
:)
This trip somehow changed certain parts of me.
Which part?
We'll see.

Never stop dreaming.
There is no 'dream comes true' if you don't have a dream.

Life's good! Cheers!!

Have a nice one!

Ng Family Rocked Middle East!

Wow!!
I haven't been here for a month!! Gosh! However, wasn't flying that much last month, I've reached my high hour, flew around 840 hours this year, and we are not allowed to fly over 900 hours per calendar year. That's why I was given a high-hour-holiday, which is good for me, got to bring my parents and Mei Yi around when they were here for vacation.

It was great to have them here in Jordan to bug me. They were here for 9 days, as usual, they argue about every little things now, and the next second, they become close again, like two peas in a pod. The noisiness made me felt like I'm at home. :)

Never really ask if they enjoy the trip here. But I hope they did. I admitted that I didn't really have a well-planned trip for them. Hope that next trip would be a better one that they don't need to worry about me spending too much money on the trip, which I think it's unnecessary for them to worry about it. We've spent too much of their money in the past quarter century, it's our turn now to take over that role, at least little by little. :)

We started our trip from Cairo, Egypt, then only we were back in Amman.

We were there few days right before the election started. Despite the unstable political condition in Cairo, we still managed to go through the tour, without any obstacles. In fact, we were not in the town where the demonstration took place. We were staying all the time at Giza, the outskirt of Cairo for the first day. And Saqqara, Memphis for the rest of the days.

Here are some photos of the trip~

Peas in the pod with the royal tombs of King Khufu and King Khafre. Now only I realised Papa wore like an archaeologist that day~Ha!

We were there having tea and watching the sunset and the pyramids! Life's good! :))

The next day, we went to Saqqara for its Step Pyramids and Pyramid of Teti. We got to go inside the pyramid and it was a thrill!!

Honey mooner at the Citadel of Cairo.

We flew back to Amman after few days in Cairo, visited Ajloun Castle and Jerash at the north of Jordan.
Like father like daughter!!Papa being modeled by Mei Yi. Hehe~

I love the following shot~Anak manja~

Then we continued our adventure to Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Deadsea and Ma'in hotspring at the south of Jordan!

Wadi Rum for its sand, rock, sunset and hospitality of Bedouin. One thing I love the most is the black tea with sage!My all time favorite!!

Family photo!!Love the sand!!

Papa mama and the tea!!Cheers!!

Without any reason, I love the following shot! :)

It was too cold for them to stay overnight in Bedouin camp that night, I decided to save the sleepover in Wadi Rum to the next trip, so we headed south to stay overnight at Aqaba. :))

And the next day, we headed back to north, for Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth and Ma'in hotspring of Jordan!

I couldn't stop laughing when i browsed through the photos taken at Dead Sea, papa and mama looking like the Shrek and Princess Fionna with the mud!! :D
Utterly CUTE!!

I'm so gonna bring them over to Amman again next year's spring~

Life's good!!Cheers!!

Have a cheerful Saturday!!!

Little Thing I love : Love

Love. Another little thing I love besides 'Dream'.
Love is best friends make fun of each others ends up laughing together like all the problems in life don't matter anymore. *I miss U,U,U,U.....*
Love is the boy and girl trying to sit and talk to ease away all the pain after a big fight.
Love is a sister hugging a sister when the world turns its back on her and no one else understand how difficult it is to her.
Love is parents try to ease an anxious daughter by telling her 'Everything is going to be alright' which in fact they don't even know if things would goes alright, and they just want their little girl to stop crying.

How nice if love is really all around. As I grow, I see love become lesser, even me, I don't show it easily as I started putting up wall to protect myself from hypocrites around. As time goes by, you stop showing love when you get used to life like that.

Okay, stop whining! Back to what I really want to jot down in this blog.
Love is still wonderful! Really! No matter how much ugly and dark things happen, Love still able to overpower the dark side of the world. It can makes things happen. That I always believe in.

In the name of LOVE and DREAM (Dream for me, the color is baby blue, don't know why), I bought my camera, hoping to use the shutter to capture those beautiful moments I love, save them and keep them forever.

Not long ago, we had been traveling to Barcelona for our days off and it really is a beautiful place. Extremely picturesque. So I thought, it would be a great chance for me to practice my skill with such a beautiful place and lovely couple *ahem*, cross my heart, although I always make fun of Natalie and Mah Chun Chiat, but I love to see them being together, so much bond between them and LOVE! They are cute together. :)

I love what I see, just adjusted some brightness and sharpness and color tone of the photos. That's it.
And I find it's really hard to instruct them to pose. I tried to but the effects were so damn funny. Dare not to post it out. More works need to be done. Before that, I have to sharpen my skill still. Get familiar with my camera and LOVE him more~ :))

Here you go, few successful photos out of THOUSAND shots. :p

Love what my baby can do in low light condition.

And the last photo here, is the one that I like the most among all.

Shout out to Mei Yi and Zoe! I want to practice on you guys!
Muackss!

Before ending the post, I just want to say,
I LOVE YOU!! :))
Makes the world brighter!

Have a lovely Monday!

Time waits for no man

Phew! Time has been slipping through my fingers. Just a blink of an eye, August is already here! I've spent half of the summer on flying, eating, sleeping and exploring places to places on internet. And, I'm up to this lately.

I'm never a luxurious traveler, always go on a trip on optimum budget with maximum exploration to the places I visit. So, I walk a lot, to see a place. Not everyone could bears this sort of exploration I'm up to. Even Ahmeng. :P So, I won't mind if I'm travelling in solo. Sometimes, it's rather relaxing to travel alone because you don't have to take care of and accommodate the needs of your companion.

Traveling is FUN!

And I'm just plain thankful that I get to travel around like I always wanted to.

And there is still a list of things to do for myself, other than traveling. Never forget the ultimate dream of mine~So I must never stop trying and dreaming. So as you. ;)

Have a lovely Friday!

The July

I've been flying and busy lately and didn't realize that I haven't post a blog for quite awhile. Well, everytime when   I logged into my dashboard, the only thing that I did was browsing others' blogs. And when I have time, I googled about our trip to Rome. It makes my adrenalin rushed and by doing research for the place we are heading for holiday raised the anticipation to that whole trip. That was why I was occupied when I was free at home. ROME ROME ROME.

Besides doing the homework for the Rome thingy, I did some price comparisons for my baby too. I'm buying Canon 60D!! For myself, as my birthday pressie! I wish I have the gut to just drop by the shop and say, Okie, I'm taking this one! Please wrap it up for me! and go~ Yea, I wish I have the gut.

Soon, very soon. Canon 60D.

Here is one of my favorite photos from the trip to Rome.

In front of the Pantheon.

Have an awesome Thursday!!
