Lingering Santorini

14th of April 2012, It has been almost a month since my last post.
The thing that I was planning on, which I'd mentioned on my last post, is the trip to Santorini.
Never ever thinking of being able to step foot on that island.
It was a dream for me, which seemed far and unreachable.
And it still is.
Mind still lingers on that place.
It's a dreamy island that you should go when it's not crowded. Just chill and relax.

Love this photo of me. Thanks Bianca for the photo.

And after seeing so many stunning photos of Santorini for my whole life, I got to capture one myself.
The sunset of Oia.

It was OH-SO-AMAZING to see the changing color of the sea, sky and the whitewashed cube houses.
We just sat there and watched it quietly. I guess we all had the same thought at that moment.
'Couldn't believe that I'm here.'
That's what we always tell each other when we are traveling.
More photos for the trip on the coming post.
I still couldn't get enough of it.
:)
This trip somehow changed certain parts of me.
Which part?
We'll see.

Never stop dreaming.
There is no 'dream comes true' if you don't have a dream.

Life's good! Cheers!!

Have a nice one!

Imagination

What do you really want? I am certain on what I want. That's good, because I know what I really want.

But the thing that matter now, is how to move on. I feel helpless to stay home and do nothing with my camera. I desperately want to move on!!

I am thinking over the same things night over night. So many plans go on in my head, a family photo session, trip to Venice with so many pair of couples, which I can do whatever experiments I desire on them. It's killing to wait for the time to pass and to wait for all the plans to come true!

It's christmas' eve of 2011, I've been quite a good girl this year, there is no chimney in my house, but I hope Santa could get me a dream-come-true opportunity by breaking the window of my room, I don't mind! :)) *Getting ready a pinky sock*

No crazy celebration this year, stay home peacefully with my christmas-feel pyjamas. Just talked to my family, just had a simple dinner with Vicky, just liked a status of Mei Yi celebrated her christmas with her bunch of closed friends, just tagged a post for Song Lee See, my BFF, to lure her for Mayday's coming concert, listening to Mayday's new album, and writing blog post! I'm blessed to have celebrate it this way. Life's good, except I want to take loads of photos so badly!!!!!

Photo of the post, Christmas of 2009, with my girls!
Last christmas I gave you my heart!:))

And before ending the post, a shout out to myself!

夢想永遠是逆光 只有剪影的模樣
會有什麼細節 什麼體驗? 不要只猜想!

By Mayday

Cheers!!!!

And Merry Christmas!

Have a joyous Sunday!

Little Thing I love : Love

Love. Another little thing I love besides 'Dream'.
Love is best friends make fun of each others ends up laughing together like all the problems in life don't matter anymore. *I miss U,U,U,U.....*
Love is the boy and girl trying to sit and talk to ease away all the pain after a big fight.
Love is a sister hugging a sister when the world turns its back on her and no one else understand how difficult it is to her.
Love is parents try to ease an anxious daughter by telling her 'Everything is going to be alright' which in fact they don't even know if things would goes alright, and they just want their little girl to stop crying.

How nice if love is really all around. As I grow, I see love become lesser, even me, I don't show it easily as I started putting up wall to protect myself from hypocrites around. As time goes by, you stop showing love when you get used to life like that.

Okay, stop whining! Back to what I really want to jot down in this blog.
Love is still wonderful! Really! No matter how much ugly and dark things happen, Love still able to overpower the dark side of the world. It can makes things happen. That I always believe in.

In the name of LOVE and DREAM (Dream for me, the color is baby blue, don't know why), I bought my camera, hoping to use the shutter to capture those beautiful moments I love, save them and keep them forever.

Not long ago, we had been traveling to Barcelona for our days off and it really is a beautiful place. Extremely picturesque. So I thought, it would be a great chance for me to practice my skill with such a beautiful place and lovely couple *ahem*, cross my heart, although I always make fun of Natalie and Mah Chun Chiat, but I love to see them being together, so much bond between them and LOVE! They are cute together. :)

I love what I see, just adjusted some brightness and sharpness and color tone of the photos. That's it.
And I find it's really hard to instruct them to pose. I tried to but the effects were so damn funny. Dare not to post it out. More works need to be done. Before that, I have to sharpen my skill still. Get familiar with my camera and LOVE him more~ :))

Here you go, few successful photos out of THOUSAND shots. :p

Love what my baby can do in low light condition.

And the last photo here, is the one that I like the most among all.

Shout out to Mei Yi and Zoe! I want to practice on you guys!
Muackss!

Before ending the post, I just want to say,
I LOVE YOU!! :))
Makes the world brighter!

Have a lovely Monday!

Anniversary

1 year it is! To be precise, 1 year and 18 days. It has been one hell of a ride!!
And I've already signed myself to the airline for another year. Congratulations to myself!
By the way, I still haven't finish exploring the world, I have to at least explore all the seven wonders before I decide to leave.

Despite the traveling, this job is really addictive, of the money, of the experience, of the people you meet. I wonder if I can survive if I'm leaving this job behind. When the time comes, I have to take another big step again, to be out from the huge swirl of cotton candy. I'm gonna just let it flow now~

I have this confidence that I can do whatever I want as long as I WANT it. The will, that I always have it. The good thing is I'm not worried for myself, but from the other hand, the bad thing is I'm thinking too much that I stop learning and stop growing, stop wanting something. Or another word, I'm sitting on my comfort zone, not wanting to move anymore. This bugged me nowadays, going to start finding something else other than my works and flight, to keep myself occupied. Learning more Arabic words is my next target and after getting my camera, I'm going to get myself moving towards my DREAM! Practices make perfect! Don't ever give up!

The life is going on, and I keep writing my very own chapters in the way I want it to be. I'm very glad of this! The way I want it to be. =]

Cheers peep!

Here is the photo of the post!

Was having dinner with the girls, not all of us, but we were all as if together. There will always be a next-time.

Cheers!!

Life is short, play MORE

I'm here! Didn't blog for ages! So many things going on this month, flights, life, trips, dream, relationship, lies, confession, korean drama series *=P*, enjoyment, gossips, foods, achievement...This is life. And excuses for me to skip my blog! =]

Always wanted to blog about my favorite trips, but too many things have to be done which caused the procrastination that grows in me. Came back from Belgium last month for my days off and also Canada, the short break for this month's days off! I definitely voted Belgium as one of my favorite trips! That country is so underrated, may be that's why the visit was unexpectedly awesome! Friendly and handsome people *=P*, drooling foods, stunning nature! Everything was just perfect for me.

Despite all the trips, the happiest thing that happened last month was that I finally bought my 60D!!
Another step closer to my dream!! My very first DSLR. Was thinking about it day and night after Mei Yi bought it for me. Still waiting for the camera to be delivered from Malaysia! I want my baby desperately!! Teehee! =D

Talking about dreams and life, I met a captain on the flight to Canada. We were so lucky to get a seat on the First Class to Canada, and I was seated next to one of our airline's captain. One thing I enjoy talking and listening to elder people is that they have so many experiences to talk about that mesmerized me. They have been through so many ups and downs, they fall and they learned and they succeed. And this captain, he has been through the same thing as I've gone through. I told him how I ended up working in the airline and he told me he experienced the same thing. He was major in Economy during his university time. He knew that that was not what he wants in his life, and one day, he saw the advertisement in the newspaper regarding the pilot's course, he took the U-turn straight without looking back. I hope someday I could tell my experience to someone when I finally achieve what I'm striking for. Fingers crossed! =] Anyway, as i said, I'm one step closer to my dream!!

As usual, I say, life is really short, just do whatever you want to do, decide and move on.

Cheers!!

Going to sleep for tomorrow's flight! NYC here I come! Time to do some shopping for families! 把钱花光,为国争光!=P

Have an awesome Wednesday!!

The Concrete Jungle.

New York, a city that I hate and I love.

I was so damn nervous when I knew I was going to New York, fast-paced life and was thinking do I have to walk very fast in the city?? I was all alone when I first reached NY, so I actually studied a bit about the metro and places to go for the first day. Luckily, with some helps from the operating Thai senior crew, P'BB, I literally walked to Timesquare and Empire State Building area on my own! See the city, where dreams are made, with my bare eyes. Wooohoo~

I actually like a getaway to a beautiful natural place rather than a city,  so I didn't hold much expectation towards the city, for me, meeting my Camin Loo is the main thing for the long-awaited trip. :P However, this trip ended up being awesome! All because of the friends that I was travelling with. :))

And of course the uniqueness of the city. There must be some reasons why everyone is dreaming of going to the concrete jungle.

They have awesome museums, magnificent skyscrapers, mixed of cuisines from everywhere around the world, all in all, mixed of everything, it's indeed a colorful city, my eyes were occupied for the whole trip!

Billboards in Timesquare, my head was literally tilted up for the whole Timesquare thingy.

The Square. Crowded square. They called it 'The Crossroads of the world'. It's actually located in between junctions. Smaller than i thought it is.

With the Beast! Queuing up for Broadway show's ticket.

The gang!!

Watched Ben Stiller's show, 'The House of Blue Leaves'.

Went Little Italy and Chinatown on the 2nd day. HUGEEEEE pizza, it's portion for 3 person. Unbelievable HUGE!

Madame Tussauds wax museum.

Aim it and nail it!

Top of the Rock.

Slim!!

Museum of Natural History!! Dinosaurs spotted! Dead one. First time ever in my life.

Awesome companions~:))

Next on, the river cruise.

Not much of photos for both of us.

Gloomy Statue of Liberty.

Great shot from Mandy. Love this one!!

The Brooklyn Bridge and us!

Up on the Empire State Building. Looooooong queue to go up to the building. They all said it's not worth it to go up there after such a long queue.

But I actually enjoyed the whole city view with the audio guide by Uncle Tony~ Nice day view of the city, love it better than the night view!See the skyscrapers of the city. There are the terribly crowded buildings on one piece of land.

See, my beloved sunset!!

*Ka-chak*

Dinner time! I missed the time we eating together. How I wish I could rewind the time or fast-forward it to the future.

The next day, headed to Boston, for whale-watching. Good day for us to rest on the 4-hour-bus trip and another 4 hours on the way back. We were flat sleeping on the bus.

Nasi Lemak in Boston!!Yum Yum!

Our ride, to the Atlantic Ocean. A wonderful yet horrible ride. Why wonderful, because we got to see the 2nd biggest whale in the world, the Fin Whale, it was really amazing to get to see wild whale with your own eyes, it's more excited to see it in the ocean than in the aquarium. The luck is the thing. If you're lucky , you get to meet them in the ocean. Nice to meet you Fin Whales!!
And why horrible? Because we puked all the way going. We walked like a zombie after the ride. I hate waves! Definitely prefer air turbulence than the waves!!

Looks nice but tastes bad.

More museum-visit on the next day. One of my favorite museums, MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art. I am not a museum person at all. But seriously, the museums in NYC changed my old dusty perspective towards a museum. Malaysians should really learn from the Americans, see how they rock a museum.

Strolling around the Wall Street.

Posing with the Charging Bull in the Wall Street.

We see the bull from a different perspective.

The Grand Central Station. The crowd is everywhere. As the name goes, it's really grand.

Dinner time. Bubba Gump is always my favorite!

Had a really great time in the city with my loved one. It's never gonna be the same next time when i step on that city again. Without the company of all of you.

Again, thanks for the awesomely great trip.

P.S. My dream did comes true in the city!

Have a lovely Sunday!!
